A plague upon this howling!

January 16, 2009

O, wonder!
How many goodly blogs are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such bloggers in’t!

‘Tis new to thee.

Welcome to the Vaughan Econ Blog!  Okay, the title of this entry is lifted verbatim from Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST (Act I, scene i), but I confess to tweaking the other lines (Act V, scene i). I built this blog to facilitate communication with students.  Mega-thanks to Scott Bressler who clued me in to WordPress – and patiently explained how it worked.

All out-of-class communication with classes — including announcements about administrative matters (posted in “Admin Alerts”), relevant articles in the business press (“WSJ Alerts”); resources to help with Friedman/Schwartz reading (“F&S Aids”); and miscellaneous other items (such as quiz/exam keys, PowerPoint slides, etc — posted in “Class News”) — will take place via this blog.  Please check daily if enrolled in one of my classes.

Please don’t be shy about posting comments – including any suggestions for improvement!

Mark Vaughan
